My rabbit just died and other one not looking too good either

I'm so upset, the one that's dead is only 2 1/2 and the other one's his mum. I'm feeling so guilty as not been out to them much with all the bad weather. Dh just taken her to the vet and dd1 very upset

oh dear, what do you think happened to them?

I don't know - we never had them immunised so that's a possibility.

do you think it had maximitosis (sp)?

Well the other rabbit died about 5 mins ago. The vet said her bowel wasn't working and I've googled it and it looks like stress has caused it (especially as they both died together and so quickly). So no idea what has happened to them and feel so guilty as I can't remember looking at them this morning (I do this every morning). Also seen 2 dead mice and a dead rat recently further up our road so wondering if there is a bug being spread around the pet community - the vet also said "it must be sick rabbit day today". Just trying to find an explanation I suppose. RIP our beautiful bunnies

we have 2 bunnies, so i know how you feel, has the hutch got wet inside with all the rain, i know i had to turn my round as one morning they were both soaked

something could have shocked them suddenly (a fox?) so sad for your rabbits.

Poor little bunnies, they are really sweet animals.
