Brian

DD insists on having a dog named Brian, and we won't have one for a couple of years...

BlueCheese23 · 23/12/2018 18:31

Probably not Brian as her hb is called that!

Callum, westies in my family always end up called Callum so I can’t think of any other name for them!

HeronLanyon · 23/12/2018 18:33

Poppet.

MrsSnippyPants · 23/12/2018 18:35

Finlay; means white warrior Smile

TheDogsMother · 23/12/2018 18:36

Hamish. He's lovely.

PepsiLola · 23/12/2018 18:38

Dougal Monty or anything Mc. Like Macbeth 😂 proper scots names

StarJazmin · 23/12/2018 18:41

Anything but Hamish or Angus! All Westies/Scotties are called either Hamish or Angus!

How about Ian? You rarely meet a dog called Ian. Might be too close to Brian though - best if it sounds different so it’s easier for the dog to recognise his own name.

How’s about
Kenneth
Alec
Malcolm? Malcolm could work very well for a dog!

He's lovely! But looks older than a puppy, if he's a rehome does he already have a name? If he does but they want to change it I'd go with something similar phonetically to make it easier for him to adapt to it.

Met a dog called Norman the other day and I think it's an excellent choice for a dog.
