Sponsor dog/puppy

My dd would love to have a dog but unfortuanetly we dont have time for one due to work so i was thinking of getting her a sponsor a dog/puppy. Has anyone done this, if so what did you think about it. Tia

What would she actually get? Is she old enough to appreciate the thinking behind the gift?
Could you make time to volunteer for the Cinnamon Trust or a local rescue?

Yeh shes old enough to understand and appreciate the gift. Think they get a certificate and updates on the puppy.
