My female kitten has just been neutered. She was sent home without a cone collar but I've had to buy one as she's constantly licking and biting at the stitches!! She's been known to pull her fur out on her lower back after my male neutered cat has trying to mate with her, hence why I've got her spayed in order to try and stop this behaviour. The vet insisted on no collar but am I right in thinking she really needs it in order to heal properly?? Please help.
