Basically my best friend has a dog and I'm worried that it's neglected, I'm sure she never takes him out her and her partner both work 8 hours days, he's always locked in the hallway, I've never once heard her say I was taking the dog out or I'm out with the dog like I constantly am, he's just over 1 and he's due to have a baby so can't see the situation getting any better... what to do

Who is having a baby, the male dog, the male partner or your friendConfused would it be worth asking her if she would like some help with dog sitting, walking and say you worry about him, it would be great for him to get some fresh air.

I have a friend who never walks their dog. No one in the family seems to walk it. I feel bad for it, and do my best to make the point that dogs need to go out (tell her I took my dog to the beach, forest, park, wherever) but she hasn't cottoned on yet.
Although it pains me as a pet owner to say this, at least that dog is not terribly mistreated. Not starved or beaten etc. It could be worse.

@Flooffloof I know such a thought situation but he's constantly in a small space in the hall way and she says he still pisses around the house I'm guessing it's because he's never outside 😫
