Kitten won't eat wet food

We have only had him for a short time so I'm putting it down to him being in a new place and not 100% settled yet but he won't touch any of the wet food I've put down to him.
The woman I got him from said he had been given whiskas so I bought that but he sniffs it and walks away. He is eating dry food really well but I've yet to see him drinking any water so that concerns me.
He's from a litter of 10 and he's the quietest most timid 1, whilst watching his siblings run and play, this little 1 just stood and watched.
He seems happy enough, always cuddling into myself and running after my young son and I but I'm just concerned the fact he's eating dry food but not any water so far. He's also only done the smallest pee in his litter tray but nothing more, that was early this morning.
Any advice would be appreciated. Maybe I just need to relax a bit Blush

How old is he? I would still put down a small amount of wet food in a separate dish. You say you haven’t seen him drinking anything but had the level of water gone down in the dish? He might be drinking while you are not looking.

Thanks for your replies. He just turned 9 weeks 2 days ago so still very young. I've checked the water and he's definitely not drank any. The wet food is still out incase he wants to try it. If he hasn't eaten it by tomorrow il try op's idea and see if there's any change!

I gave him the tiniest bit of adult felix wet cat food along with her kitten dry food and she ate the whole lot. But she won't eat the same flavour but in kitten version? Confused surely that can't be good for him though if he was to only eat the adult cat wet food?

I wouldn’t worry about him eating adult food if it’s all he will eat for now.once he gets eating more you could always mix the kitten one with the adult one gradually so that he gets back to kitten food
