litter training a kitten

all the kittens I had while growing up were already litter trained by their mother when we got them, but our new kitten wasn't trained by his mum as she doesn't use a tray (goes outside). he's too little to let out yet so we have to litter train him. anyone have any experience in this area? I've housetrained dogs before but they are more open to suggestion than cats....

cover your floor in litter trays lol only joking you just have to be quick and everytime you see them trying to do summet on your floor keep putting them in the tray takes ages but it works, and if they are doing it in a certain place sprinkle a little bit of curry powder not a lot thou you dont want them to have curry power in there eyes you could also try puttin soil from outside in the tray or change to some different litter they might not like the one your using! hope this helps a little

PLEASE litter train you kitten !!! My lawn is ALWAYS covered in cat poo which really really stinks and is disgusting. I don't have a cat, so it's definitely not mine. Seriously thinking of doing what another mnetter did (collecting it and chucking it back over the fence to next door) . Sick to death of cat poo .

my neighbours have not to worry about that problem with my cats as they are indoors

they usually learn by example so if you have other cats that use it he will probably copy, where does he normally go?
