Holiday with dog recommendations/ideas please

We want to take our new puppy on holiday this summer and would like some ideas of dog friendly accommodation and places to go etc.

I also have a teenager so somewhere with a bit of life would be welcomed to keep her entertained.

hoseasons are dog friendly, darwin forest holiday in peak district is where we are going this year and they allow dogs.

We went to lochgoilhead last year in scotland which was great as was on loch and river and my labrador was in doggy heaven

We have used welcome cottages loads of times. THey are really friendly and helpful. Not all their places take dogs, but quite a lot do.
Personally I wouldn't mention the puppys age. I'd just book your holiday for x people and a dog.
