Playgrounds & restaurants are for childrens/humans not dogs

I am an animal lover who is sick and tired of irresponsible and selfish dog owners who assume everyone else will love their darlings. Not everyone needs/wants your dog running up to or around their children or their table.

In restaurants/cafes/public eateries, when you bring your dog into a public (and relative confined place ) it is your responsibility to know the temperament of your dog and take steps to protect the public accordingly.

Young children are impulsive, you can teach them basic rules but sometimes they will forget. It only takes an instant or one wrong move for something to trigger a dog, and you can’t control what other people’s children will do to your dog in public, so if you absolutely must bring them along, please leash and muzzle them.

Over and above the safety aspects of bringing your dogs to a playground and/or eatery, many people are very allergic to dogs and known to get sick in a restaurant or train with a bunch of dogs laying around no matter how well behaved they were.

The way some people humanize their dogs yet dehumanize people is disconcerting.

Rant over.
