Dog worries

I feel really sad to leave my dog with my Dh family who we don’t know that well. We need a holiday as Dh has just lost his dad and we have had a few stressful months. Normally my family look after our dog but due to unforeseen circumstances they can’t. Also dog boarding companies were mostly full as booked up months ago. I am worried that I will spoil my holiday as I will be fretting about my beloved dog.

All I can suggest is ask the people you are leaving him/her with to send you pictures daily and to make sure they contact you if there's any problems! Being a dog owner myself I know it's horrible leaving your pets behind but just try and enjoy yourself and bring him/her back somthing nice! I'm sure they will be fine! But like I said ask for pictures daily ans to keep you updated!

Hi I have just bought 4 yr old bitch shitzu had her 4 days her owner said she was house trained and I taken her out at least 4 times day she didn't wee or poo every time I took her out and her previous owner admitted she never took her out for over yr as lost interest and only left door open to let her go out when wanted how do I get her to learn to do her business while out walking .
