Am getting two kittens next week

Lost my beloved cat (aged 16) 3 months ago and was devastated. Getting two kittens next week - a tortoishell and a black and white one. Female and Male. They are going to be called Spike and Druscilla and I can't wait to welcome them to the family. Luurrve cats.

but would also love another cat (ours died last October), but DH thinks he's allergic so is putting his foot down

Lurve cats too - we lost both of ours last year (both aged 12 years) got 2 kittens last year - Milly and Lilly - identical tabbies - in short they've systematically wrecked our house - they are so badly behaved! Hunt like mad - Milly brought a BAT home last week, it was still alive.....squeaking in the kitchen til Milly gave it to Lilly who took it out. Not ashamed to say I locked her out...!

I am so . I would love to have a cat again, but dh won't let me. Luckily we have next-door-neighbour's cat around a lot.

We have 2 black cats called Magic and Mayhem. They are brother and sister. We love em!

Actually I have an 8yo cat called Barty, he's my furry baby substitute!

buffy is so funny, the way ds (3yrs) interacts with her is so entertaining!
she 'wakes' up at about 7.00pm and its all mayhem until 11ish ....like her batteries have been charged up!

We plan to get a kitten (maybe two...) any tips on training kitty now to destroy the house???

We took in two kittens just after Christmas a black and white little boy and a black little girl very imaginatively called "Black" and "Black and White"

Be prepared for trouoble with two ours run riot every night and are going through a lovely phase of bringing their prey in for us. I had a dead mouse in my slippers the other morning.

I have no real tips onefunkymama as they have trashed our house, we have learnt ot keep doors to rooms locked if we can't supervise them and lots of toys.
