I think my cat is mentally torturing me

One of my cats has went on her 3rd walkabout and she's driving me insane Sad Her first one she was away for 2 1/2 days, she showed up in the field where we walk the dogs, second time she was away for 4 days and came running in the house like nothing had happened and this time so far shes been away for a week. I know cats wander and i live next to fields, so its like an all you can eat buffet for her in the fields plus free tv watching everything! I've been looking through some threads and seen that others go away for way longer, i even already know one who happens to be my eldest's cat's son and he goes for upto 2 months!! I've lost 2 cats before who went missing so i'm pretty sure my bad reactions are stemming from that but i dont understand why she does it! I'm crying my eyes out while typing this but i dont know what else to do. I can't put her litter box outside because she doesn't use it, cant use vacuum bag because its changed that often, etc I'm pretty sure her brother knows where she is though and does it make a difference that she's a maine coon? are they more prone to hunting etc? This paragraph probably looks like a ramble and it is but i just need to vent somehow. All of my pets are my babies but she Is the baby, the youngest, she probably thinks im a soppy, overprotective mammy but i cant help it. She'll probably come waltzing in tomorrow and i'll be cuddling her and if looks could kill then me and the entire mouse population would be her victims. The second she is back i'm putting a collar on her to prep her for a tracker collar im going to buy. I'll try her with a normal collar to see if she doesnt mind it then i'll buy a tracker. One of her relatives (from the same breeder) is a famous wanderer in Oban. He has a tracker and he travels some distances so i think there must be a wanderers gene in there somewhere. His name is Parsley and he has a facebook page if your interested. I need to message his mum to see if he went on walkabouts and she got the tracker to keep an eye on him. His fave place is one of the hotel pubs! they give him milk too. Sorry for the ramble but i need to vent and see if any other cat mammy's have similar kitties x

Oh that's good.

Could someone else be feeding her?

Our old neighbour stole our cat! Her bread was buttered better there cause she fed her tins of tuna and stroked her all day long when we were at school and work.

They're little gits cats. There isn't much you can do to change them. They'll always be narcissistic little twats, doing exactly as they damned well please.

Winter usually does the trick, then it's draping over radiator times and waking up to find them curled up on your boobs Hmm
