Just putting the feelers out here.
Basically, many of you may have seen my thread a month or so back about one of my Labs nipping Ds1.
We came to the conclusion it was mainly due to me not being able to take them out every day. I also took her to the Vet who checked her over and as there was nothing wrong with her, the Vet agreed on that being the problem.
On closer inspection, I have also noticed Ds can be a bit boisterous with her.
Anyhoo, I have 2 females atm and walking both with a huge double pram is not easy.

She is perfectly healthy and very eager to please and learn new things. She is a lovely example and if I had had more time I was interested in showing her, although there are no champions in her lines. She is tidy and compact with a lovely face and very loving temperament (except with Ds!)
She has been neutered, microchipped and is Kennel Club registered.
She is currently due a booster but is flead and wormed up to date with Frontline and Drontal.
She was 4 on April 30th.
Someone did kindly offer her a home but I can't remember which Mner it was.

Ideally i would like her to go to a home with another dog unless she would be busy constantly as this is what she needs. If left to her own devices she can be destructive and has a fetish for knickers and socks (You have been warned!)

I am not desperate to get rid of her but I feel this would be for the best and I am not prepared to put her through kennels. I hoped through MN I could find a nice home for her with a 'Home to Home' transfer iyswim?
I would like to be updated with pictures and progress reports!!

I will try and put a pic on my profile.

I want to just get an idea if anyone could offer her this for me and have written so much as I don't want anybody to be fooled and to know exactly what they are in for! lol

Does she like cats, LOTF?
If so, please can you CAT me.

LadyOfTheFlowers · 22/05/2007 17:51

Difficult to say.
My mother has 7 and she does not bat an eyelid at them, but lately she has tried to chase next door's cat as she can see her thru the fence.
Also down to her being under-stimulated I think.

Ps: I can't PM! lol

Cant help myself I'm afraid but wanted to wish you luck finding her a nice home. If you contact your local vet they should have a directory from the kennel club with specific breed rescue contact details in it so that you have alternative option if you do not find what you need via MN.

Thanks.
I will be asking the vet if i dont find a suitable home thru mn.

Hi there, am a sucker for doggies needing a home...I am due in 2 weeks, not a good time, otherwise we'd gladly have her

Good luck!

where are you located? My parents might be interested, but they generally keep dogs rather than bitches.

LadyOfTheFlowers · 23/05/2007 14:40

Aaaaw, what's wrong with bitches?

Am in Wiltshire.

bugger, they are in norfolk. They had a couple of bad experiences with bitches and children, so then stuck to dogs while we were growing up, they've had three black lab dogs now. I'm sure you will find a good home, labs are lovely dogs.
