Grandparents dogs around 1 year old

Is it acceptable to stop my child going to her grandparents when worried about their dogs?
They’ve 4 dogs, one of which recently bit someone and has shown signs of aggression. Thoughts? And how to tackle it?

Yes perfectly acceptable not to take your child to visit. The safety of your child is your priority. Personally I would be honest with them and say you are concerned about the aggressive dog and don’t want to take the risk of anything happening. But let them know they are welcome to visit you (without the dogs).
