Should I keep neighbours rabbit

My neighbours beautiful bunny is always escaping. This time I have caught it and brought it into my house to keep it safe until they retrieve it ( they haven't bothered yet) It is only a matter of time before a fox kills it as where we live we are surrounded by woodland and have a lot of foxes or gets run over like our cat did last year and 2 other neighbours cats this last year. If I give it back and anything happens to it I would be so upset. They have been told it escapes many times yet they just seem to wait for it to come back. If I keep it it will live indoors with us. What should I do 😩

Keep hold of it somewhere safe in your house, make sure you have all the hay, food and water you need for it. Do let your neighbours know you have it and if they want to come and collect it they can but say you've seen foxes in the garden (even if you haven't) and you're keeping the bun safe indoors with you and recommend they do the same, or offer outright to keep the bun if they don't want it. Sometimes people will just say yes to that!

Can you see what kind of set up they have?
