Luxury dog collars???

Hi everyone,

I'm struggling to find a luxury dog collar for my young Labrador. I'm fed up of the standard products that stores offer - does anybody have a recommendation for a collar that is high quality but completely different?? Thanks

Have you looked at Mutts & Hounds ?

I have looked all over the internet for something. I really want something completely different to standard leather collars. Ideally handmade and full of colour!!

There is a lovely pet shop in Ilkley, called Barkers, they maybe branches in other towns, unusual collars and dog stuff

Our dog has a Petiquette house collar , it’s gorgeous , they do lots of different types and different colours . For walking he has an Indi dog harness and they also make collars AFAIK .

Why?

I'm very much into handmade/organic materials and products. I really want my lab Dexter to look cool! Sometimes I think I treat my pup better than I treat my kids!! oooooops

i know what you mean, I like to show off my cocker spaniel but only find the same old thing in my local jollyes and pets at home. I have just looked on the mutts and hound link and they are a bit dear?! but yes they look nice.

what about dog harnesses? I have one for Klaus the dog, for when we do long walkies.

I much prefer a collar on my Dexter. Although I'm open to look at harnesses too! Ah Klaus, what a lovely name! What harness do you use?

oh I like both of those!!! too much choice, my Klaus is going to have a late doggy valentines day present!! oh I love those, especially the beady ones, they will match my jewellery nicely

Thank you for your suggestions guys. The Paxleys range do look amazing actually, can't say I've ever seen the African ones online before! Where else do they sell? I'd be interested to see what else they offer

You have to have a collar on your dog with your details on by law, but a harness worn at the same time can help if they are pulling a lot. We've got one that tightens under his arms if he yanks too much!

Oooooh the Guacho Belt collars are lovely! How durable are they? Do the threats pull apart? That would be my only worry.
