We took on Lucy a black labrador from another MNer. She has been with us for just over 2 weeks now. It feels like we have known her forever. Shes fantastic with the children and they all adore her beyond belief. We have just bought her a big beanbag to sleep on which she loves. She did start jumping on the furniture but worked out that it was because she didn't like the laminate flooring!! she is fine now shes got used to it! She is laying at my feet as I type wagging her tail like mad! I think she is going through a phantom pregnancy at the moment as she is leaking a bit of milk, but other than that shes great. she comes on the school run with me most days and we enjoy our walks with her. She stopped being sick too after a few days. The vet said she was just regurgitating, which might be something to do with her phantom pregnancy? Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that shes doing great and after the incident with the boxer, we are glad that we have lucy now. Shes a total darling and we would be lost without her.
