Do you tip a dog groomer?

I'm taking my pup to a dog groomer for the first time this week. Do you tip or not tip? Thank you!

I gave a small gift at Xmas to my dog groomer but I don't tip for his normal visits.

We do. He's great though! Our dog is old (really old) and stinks! The groomer knows him well, knows he can't stand for long and has to go outside regularly. He always comes home smelling amazing, well cut and dried and in a great mood. He's worth the tip
