No.... she's been asleep down stairs in the cat bed and has woken up now - she's having 4 contractions together every few mins.....
sometimes one is very strong and I think this is it! but nothing....

is she screaming for an epidural?

Go mommajoolscat

MegaLegs · 24/04/2007 16:14

Once it's out she should chew through the cord and then lick it like mad to break the sack. Then she'll give it a really good clean.

The most amazing thing I remember from when Meesh had hers was that there was no mess - she cleaned up after everyone not a mark on the carpet.

mommajools · 24/04/2007 16:15

OMG
she jumped out of her bed and started to go up stairs, kitten born on the step then she ran up to top of atirs on landing with the baby hanging out!!

MegaLegs · 24/04/2007 16:17

Has she cleaned it up - she might need some help.

Ivor · 24/04/2007 16:17

You'll have to call that one Stannah

aDad · 24/04/2007 16:18

crossing fingers they aren't all so eventful!

DumbledoresGirl · 24/04/2007 16:23

Crikey! Real live births on the internet! This is exciting. I wish one of our cats could have kittens but they are both male.

2 years ago, a cat did give birth in our garden though. We knew nothing about it until dd found the kittens in the nest. So cute!

nearlythere · 24/04/2007 16:24

ahhh

mommajools · 24/04/2007 16:25

she's on top of the landing cleaning him or her - has bitten through the cord
It was a fright when it came out on the step.
