4 dogs and 1 cat?

We have 4 dogs, which are all very well trained and well behaved with the children but we were thinking of getting a kitten.
Bad idea? Anyone have experiences of having cats and dogs?
They are all fairly large breeds so is this going to be intimidating for a little kitten?

We had a rottweiler when we got our kittens. Ddog was mesmerised!! Few years late we got a husky, she loves the cats and have no issue. Even added 2 Lurchers to the household!! Maybe put a baby gate up so the kitten has an escape route!!

I got a kitten a few days ago and we are slowly introducing him to our large breed dog, who is almost 7 months old.
The kitten is from a home with 2 equally large breed dogs, so although he is still wary if the dog makes any sudden movements he is fine and happy to explore.

I won't be leaving them alone together for a very, very long time but my dog is taking it well so far and has had a few supervised sniffs of the kitten.

As long as the dogs are well behaved I'm sure a kitten will be fine and get used to them. Great company for the cat too, the lady we got ours from says she only sells to homes with dogs/cats.
