Furious with dirty hay grrrrrr

Bought my gp's some "fresh" hay.

Looked at my pure white gp this morning and he is filthy. All in his eyes and feet.
That can't be right can it?
I am so angry

I thought hay had to be soaked before feeding to cut down on dust too?

Well I have never had to do that before. All of the other hay we have had has been lovely and green and fresh.

You're lucky it's just dirt, I once found a rabbit's hind leg in some hay.

i found blue pastic in mine the other week.

blimey at these!

i buy hay from the local nursery, you can a massive bag for about £4 and it's long cut. the supermarket hay is really rubbish, expensive and dusty.
