I have just moved my animals runs back onto the patchy lawn near my fence. the rabbit dug a very deep hole, but as he wasnt appearing on trying to escape i left him to it. wheni cleaned his cage it was very clean, just a few minor pellets (he has a big run with cage up a little ramp and he does sleep up there). hmmm thought I, is that hole his new toilet? today he has filled in the hole and started on a new one.

do i have a strange bunny? i dont mind the digging, in fact he is probably doing my garden a good turn lol.

sounds like normal bunny behaviour. mine are very tidy

perfectly normal - probably they were starting to build a warren.

One of mine dug a tunnel about 3 feet long - the only thing she didn't do was come up (she wasn't trying to escape she was just building a home!). i only discovered it when my foot went through the top of it when walking past her run.
