Conned by false reviews on a pet shop, can I do anything about it?

I bought budgies from a breeder purely because 10 people said how amazing he is- turned out to be absolutely the opposite and one person has now added a review saying all the others are a lie. Which is definitely true.

How can I get justice? Can I post its name here? I am genuinely angry and spent £145 there and have 2 budgies with problems and they didn't get back to me (diarrhea and French molt, both serious things so I'm really upset)

Sorry this has happened but I have a very low opinion of animal breeders as most do not have animal welfare as top priority, more likely profit.
I don't know where is good for nudge advice (cat person) maybe Blue Cross?

Thank you. I don't know how Google reviews are regulated so keen to see if can help anything there, too. It feels extremely upsetting and I was being so careful to only find someone who had been 'vouched for'- clearly false reviews were my huge pitfall

I wonder what to say to the breeder too as so angry I don't want him to get away with it. It was a lot of money for us and a big deal as I'd been researching for literally months to get rhe right birds as we get so attached to ours

I don't think Google reviews are regulated. Business owners can respond to reviews so feel free to slate them. Have the birds seen a vet, perhaps they could provide reports?

If this breeder is genuinely not looking after the birds,get in touch with the RSPCA and let them see your budgies and your vet bills
Some will say the rspca will do nothing, but i know of a local pet shop who was banned from selling animals, and only allowed to sell petfoods and pet toys etc
This was after someone bought a kitten who was found to be ill and not looked after by the owner of the pet shop who was also the breeder

i wonder if reviews are ever taken down as if my review will stay to warn people I will gladly set up a Google account as don't have one. At first I didn't want to damage a business but now I've realised apbhr the French moult on top they really deserve it as our bird may never fly and I'll be so sad!

Get the birds seen to. Report and write your reviews be honest but no personal abuse, swearing etc (even if you want to) and there is no reason for them to be taken down.
