Going to collection my cat's ashes from the vets now

RIP Fleck

It's been a month now since she died. We hadn't heard from vets so I called them this morning. They say her ashes are ready for collection now.
Just off to pick them up with dds.

We are getting her back in a scatter tray and will scatter her ashes on the heathland in front of our house, hopefully this evening.

Just read thread title *collect of course.
It is going to feel very strange bringing her home as ashes. It hurts.

We took the ashes to the heathland if front of our home and scattered them. DD1 (7) wrote a poem which she read out and then broke her little heart.
I have told her that anytime she wants to visit the spot she can.
