Rabbit out in the rain!

I let my rabbit roam around our garden (there is no way she can escape), she does have a hutch, with a little fence type thing around it but she can get in and out. It's absolutely pouring with rain where I am, and she won't go in her hutch? She's a big rabbit and hard to handle.

I hate seeing her sat there in the rain but dp says she must like it, she has done it a lot but is it a case of just leaving her to it or just picking her up and making her go in the hutch?

Mines sat eating grass in the garden at the moment. Soaked through. Silly thing. The other 3 are nice and warm but he's having none of it!

My two both go out in the rain. Their choice.

Well that makes me feel better! Ha. I can't help thinking though just get in your hutch🙈. Our last rabbit would leg it inside as soon as it would start raining!

I think if it gets to bad I might have to go out there with a towel and either bring her inside for a bit or put her inside the hutch🙉 feel awful watching her out there.

I was unlucky and so was dbunny some years ago - too many wet nights brought him to an early demise. .

I've had her for a few years now, I wish she would just go in her hutch!!

Another soggy bunny here! She goes back in her hutch when it dries up!

it's still quite hot so the water will prob evaporate off the rabbit quite quickly. Mine used to sit in the snow. she's now 7 and happy as larry in all weathers.

My back garden always turns into a swamp after any bad rain! I've just gone out to her with a carrot to trying and get hold of her and she went for me 😮. I've left her. A few days ago we found our other bunny had died, I'm starting to wander weather she just doesn't want me near her or if she's lonely after losing our other bunny!
