Anyone have the microchip cat flap?

We are having a real problem with cats coming into the house - I've spent half an hour this afternoon cornering two cats in our house, spritzing them with water, and then kicking them out. I'm leaving the cat flap closed for the moment, but I think I like having a cat flap if it actually only let in our cats.

This one is meant to work using the microchips. It sounds really good. Downsides - it's pricey, and it needs to be plugged into the mains, which means a longish cord, which we'll get someone to fix.

Anyone have this? Does it work?

Sounds like a brilliant idea-much better than the old magnetic collar ones.

Can't help you though I am afraid.

The only thing that doesn't sound quite right is that another cat could follow one of mine in, as long as they go through less than three seconds after my cat. Still, it's got to be better than the current one ...
