We're intending to offer our neighbour's teenage children some cash to come in and look at our two chickens while we're on holiday. But I'm not sure how much to offer.
They'd be coming in every second day, checking food and water and checking for eggs. Maybe also cleaning out once (but maybe not, if we give them a really decent clean before we go). They've done it before and I used to bring them sweets afterwards, but I think hard cash will go down better these days!
