Thyroid

My 15 yr old cat has just been diagnosed with overactive thyroid and I've been given tablets from the vet for her. Looking for advice on the easiest way to give her this medication! The tablets are tiny but simply putting them in her food just doesn't work!! Has anybody else got a cat with thyroid probs and if so, how has the medication helped? Any advice and tips welcome. Thanks.

I did! She was on one tablet twice a day. Get a pill giver. Put a tiny drop of water in it. Put pill in end. Wedge cat between your knees. (If necessary wrap in towel!) open mouth and squirt pill in. Hold head up and run throat until they swallow.
Wash scratches or bites.
Repeat.
Drink Gin or Wine
You can get food as an alternative I think but it has to be all they eat. You can opt for surgery or (I think) some sort of radiation treatment but they aren't simple quick fixes.

And yes the meds did help. We lost her at 19. Unrelated issue.
