Dog injury

My two dogs got in a fight our little one had a tiny little cut on the top of her front paw

I've stopped the bleeding and it looked fine, until she started to not walk on it. We do not want to spend money on the vet unless it's an emergency.

She only has a little cut and she will not put any weight on it, the cut isn't even on the pad, it's at the top of her paw.

Also every time I touch it she whimpers.

What do I do??

I'm pretty sure she will be ok we always put black pepper on wounds stops the bleeding

If she's not walking on it, you need to see a vet.
If it's a puncture wound ( from the other dog's teeth), you will need antibiotics.

It was a puncture wound...
But we've had a few puncture wounds and they've all healed without antibiotics so hopefully this one will too...

Bathe it in boiled salted water to make sure it is clean. Not weight bearing will be because it's sore. I'd keep a watchful eye on it and if they continue to refuse to put their foot down or it looks like it isn't healing, get it looked at.

She's sleeping now so we'll probably wash it tomorrow morning. It's a little swelled but she seems to be handling it well.
