guinea pigs - male or female

DH and I have decided to get two guinea pigs, we've just been told boys are friendlier. Is this true?

We had two girls.What a waste of time.They were boring and ran away from us. The kids were so disapointed.

I always had pet guinea pigs as a kid butdon't know whether I noticed which were friendliest, but two boys could fight? Maybe thats only if girls are around. Guinea pigs and rabbits make good hutch mates though

ime it depended on the guinea pigs themselves.

I would love guinea pigs again but dp is really allergic to them. My mum offered to get some for ds at her house but dp is really allergic to them

2 boys will fight. 2 females will not. Be aware pigs can be diff to sex, so you might end up with one of each.
