She has been smelly twice now last week and few months ago...real strong fishy smell. What signs should i be looking out for?

Blood spots in the places she's been lying and male dogs rushing over all a pant and sniffing around as if their lives depended on it.

My dog sometimes smells a bit fishy(also a springer). When I last had her groomed I was told it is due a gland problem near the bum. It's nothing serious but they can't empty their gland very well and sometimes need it manually done every couple of months by a vet.
My springer had her first season at 14 mths old.Wasn't too bad or too heavy We would find spots where she would lie.Not as bad as I was dreading. It lasted about 2 weeks. We did have a few dogs hanging around ,but that was before she started spotting.Once she started they disapeared.

i am worried that she will come in to heat and i won't be able to control her and other dogs about.... as i walk her with a 13 wk old and a 2 yr old!!
