We got our cat from the RSPCA about 11 years ago. They thought she was roughly 3/4 years old at the time.
She has been a lovely cat but for about the last six months she has started making a really odd wailing and howling noise. She has plenty of food, has easy access outside through cat flap and has regular checks at vets so as far as we know she is fit and well for an oldish girl.
She can make this noise day or night - she mainly makes it upstairs. She will go up to the stairs and then we hear her make this horrendous noise. We've been up to see her when she has done this and she just tends to be sat at the top of the stairs and seems fine.
Anyone experienced this with their cat?
