Help Dog - Nuisance Barking

Advice needed. We got a lovely little westie pup in May, she's 10 months now and has settled in really well, obviously house chewed to pieces, garden looks like an archaeological dig site but can all be forgiven with a little wag of the tail. However we went abroad for the October half term and she went into kennels all went well but since then she hasn't stopped barking, she barks at the neighbours, cars, birds, trees, dustbin, TV, microwave, fresh air and it is all getting really stressful and we aren't enjoying her as much as we should. She doesn't bark when she's being walked though will if she's in a friend's/family's garden so it's not a protective turf thing. Have tried the waterpistol and the stop barking whistle and whistle collar which died a death due to excessive barking . Obviously I'm aware she's a dog and they bark, but I'm sure the neighbours will be getting an ASBO out soon if I don't do something.

You could have a chat with your vet they might have some advice, or a training school? I found this that might help

we muzzle our yapper at certain times of the day
You can also use negative association, there are some clever remote control collars that squirt cironella, play your voice saying NO or deliver small electric charge at that one.
So there are ways and means.I would use the collars but the other pup would chew it.
I think these are the lazy option though and probably massively disapproved off bu Dog Borstal afficionados

Thanks both for the info. I think that she has got into a really bad habit which we will need to break before the spring so that my neighbours don't have to resort to ear plugs.
