Anyone got a PAT dog?

I have 2 dogs, one of which I think would be great at doing this. She's only 5 months at the moment so too early I know. She has a great temperament, never pulls, can do all basic commands, goes to classes.

Anyone else have a dog that has been assessed or going to?

Yes one of mine is a PAT dog, though we are currently having a little break (had my ds 5 months ago). Your dog sounds as though she would be great at it! Though she needs to be 9 months old before she can be officially registered. I really recommend it; it can be wonderful sometimes and heartbreaking other times...

My (now sadly deceased) Border Collie was a Therapet (Scottish PAT Dog) for about 6/7 years.
She loved doing it.
We visited several places over the years and it is a really rewarding thing to do.
Tears and laughter are all part of it

Sounds as if your pup will enjoy it too, once she's old enough.

Good luck

Does anyone know how do you qualify to receive PAT?
