So our at least 50 year old inherited tortoise has come out of hibernation today. He is inside as it's far too cold for him.
We are due a new baby in the next couple of weeks as well as having a 3 year old. I suffer from anxiety and am really panicking about salmonella. Please can any tortoise people tell me I am being ridiculous and that salmonella isn't going to crawl off the tortoise and infect my house.
This is a question from someone who wears plastic gloves to touch raw chicken!
