Vet prescribed Fucidin Gel - to be applied
twice daily.

DP asked where he could find a paintbrush and 3ft long pole...

my dp diagnosed him correctly long distance then!

TinsellyRhino · 05/01/2007 17:48

rofl ahh bless him, that will be fun trying to apply it

so the answer to your original thread is "No, you won't have to touch your dog's testicles but your dh will" PMSL

do you have a 3ft pole or is dh going to try and persuade the dog to cooperate but demonstrating on himself

SherlockLGJ · 05/01/2007 17:49

Ten foot pole for Mr Huw

HuwEdwards · 05/01/2007 17:50

NOA, yes, you were right. TBH, I'm not sure who enjoyed the 1st application more, my dog or the vet - who seemed far too jolly about the whole thing for my liking.

DDs looked on in complete bemusement..

Now, just need to persuade DP about tonight's application.

Can I nominate this thread title for Quote of the Month?

HuwEdwards · 05/01/2007 17:54

I was holding his head - the dog's not the vet's and he had this very serene glazed look on his face......(again the dog not the vet)

I am laughing but in a cringy way

You - with that 'drippy' fucidin gel trying to smear it on the blotchy dogs wobblers whilst your girls look on in fear!

HuwEdwards · 05/01/2007 17:56

Fio - sorry, to answer your question it's eczema - never mentioned him wearing socks on his nads tho - that was obviously vicious lie

A phrase is coming to mind

'The Dog's Bollox'

Huw, you should have cut to the chase and called your thread that!!

pointydog · 05/01/2007 19:25

Update appreciated

HuwEdwards · 05/01/2007 19:27

MP, am from the Midlands - am far too posh to write Dog's bollox

pointydog, does reading this make you wince?

OP posts:
pointydog · 05/01/2007 20:59

Wince?! Giving me slightly pleasurable stirrings
