Well, a stairgate doesnt stop the cat from entering the kids bedroom where she wees. Anyone got any gadgets/gates/anything to let me keep the door open to air but not let the cat in????

Nope. You'll need to close the door. Can you air the room by opening a window?

You have to close the bedroom doors

Just close the doors. Or close the downstairs doors leading to the stairs.

Shut the door or put up an electric fence. Personally I'd go for the former.

A layer of foil at the entrance? Cats hate walking on foil. Worked for us when I wanted to break ours of the habit of jumping on counters.

Yeah the only thing I've found is keeping the doors closed, my cat never gives up though, you can hear him go up the stairs and with all his might he bashes the door to try and get in. He's know he's being naughty, I say his name in a low voice and back down he comes.

Thanks ladies, I was hoping that I could buy a net that would clip to a door so the door could be left open in the day. The upstairs looks dark with one door closed

Shut the door?
