Discovered Merlin had really bad tape worms which has now been treated etc.

Now he has started sneezing snuffling, do cats get colds or is it cat flu, how do I know, what do I do?

TIA

Is he vaccinated?

Cats get sniffles, and several feline illnesses make them cough and sneeze, but they can get flu as well. Some varieties of cat flu can be quite severe so keep a close eye on him. If he seems unwell as well as snuffly, take him to the vet and have him checked out.

Cats do get colds-biggest giveaway woith flu is crusting and running eyes/nose.
Not a uige amount that can be done to be honest bu tit is highly infectious.

Well he's sneezing, got one sore eye, threw up this morning but is now eating ok and happy in himself. I am assuming that as he literally finished antibiotics last night there is no point taking him to the vets.

If its highly infectious is it possible he caught it at the vets??????? He is a house cat so how did he catch it?

He is mid vaccination programme (but don't know what exactly) so could it be that his low immunity has caused him to become sick with the vaccination?

He is costing us a fortune I should have just paid £325 for a kitten!
