Magnetic cat doors

The day after I installed one of these, I noticed something on my cat's neck. On closer inspection and to my horror, poor Dolly had 'magnetised' a huge rusty nail and a teaspoon, both quite stuck to the collar magnet and dangling at a dangerous angle around her neck. The magnet also pulled her, rather aggressively, onto the metal leg of the breakfast bar. We're back to an ordinary door now.

Microchip flaps really are the best no risk of another cat with a magnet getting in or your cat losing magnet and not being able to get.
