Hi just wondering if anyone can give me a few tips please. Tomorrow we are picking up our new puppy Rico. He is a 7 month old Havanese.
He's going to miss his furry mum and dad and his human ones as he is still living with them.
Any tips on how to make things easier for him ?
We have to introduce him to our two ragdoll cats but he has been used to cats.
We have food, treats, toys, blankets, lead etc. anything I've forgotten?
I want to crate train him so that he has a safe haven if he wants one but he has not been in a crate so will take that slowly.
Can he travel on the back seat of the car if he has a dog restraint? Have recently brought a new car with back seats that have no business being called seats and not sure a crate will fit. (dog didn't factor into equation when we bought it)
Sorry for so many questions....I keep telling myself that I managed to raise a human baby so I can do this!
