Moving our very new hamster into a bigger cage

I bought a hamster on Monday. The hamster cage that was recommended to us by the pet shop is/was in my opinion far to small for her once we got her home. She is of course very active when she is awake and it just seemed far too small for her. Seeing as she is only 6 weeks old, she still has some growing to do so I have bought her a new one (which arrived this morning) which is 3 times its size with 3 levels.

However, as per recommendations, I have left her to settle in to her current cage with the intention of doing so for the first 3 to 4 days she is with us before slowly trying to tame her. Do you think it would be better to leave her in the current tiny cage for a bit longer? I'm worried that moving her into the new cage will freak her out and make her ill (wet tail etc). I intend to place the new cage in the same spot where she is, so she would still have the same view iyswim.

TIA
