What could this be?

This is an object removed by the vet from my cat's small intestine yesterday - it is blue, hard plastic possibly with metal coating, cylinder shape flattened at both ends. Confusing as she became ill after eating a pigeon so vet thought it would be a bone when it showed up on the X-ray. Does anyone have any idea what it is please? Thanks!

if it's out, does it matter what it was? was there a picture of the offending item?

Is it sealed up at the ends? Can't really see it well but could it be a homing pigeon bracelet? I don't know if she ate the whole thing mind you

staygoldponyboy it's a cylinder shape sort of flattened if that makes sense? Pigeon looked like a wild one (hard to tell though as it appeared to have been dead for some time!)
