Any Tibetan terrier owners that can advise??

We would like to get a dog and I am researching different dog breeds.

We are considering a tibetan terrier but this is based purely on reading up on the net. Are there any owners out there who could give some first hand advice?

I have read that they bark alot. Is this a big problem with this breed and is it something that you can train them not to do?
Also, it says they are wary of strangers, does this mean they shy away or do they bark at them and appear aggressive?

Any other advice or things I should know (good or bad) would be very much appreciated.

i've only known a couple of tibetan terriers. they were friendly and outgoing little dogs.
contact the Kennel Club the kennel club and see if they can put you in touch with breeders and/or shows where you can go and see the dogs and ask questions

sorry no exp of tibetan terriers but I was desperate for one years ago ,but couldn't get one so ended up with my lovely bearded collie .

Tibetan terriers are georgous!
