my puppy ate a sock

my 10 month old cocker spaniel ate one of my socks....she's eating and pooing normally but it's been two days and no sign of sock. Should I be worried?

Our cocker spaniel puppy did Exactly this! Took him 10 days then he threw it up. Advice from our vet at the time was that if he was well in himself, eating, drinking and pooing ok then on balance probably best to let nature take it's course. Probably worth giving your vet a quick call in the morning (if they want to see her better to do it before it becomes a weekend out of hours issue!) but I wouldn't worry too much - ours are all sorts of rubbish, I think he used to swallow before thinking, but he grew out of it in a few months.

She is eating and pooing pretty normally though did sick up her lunch yesterday (sadly no sock). DH took her to the vet after that (she ate sock on tues eve) who basically suggested laxatives. We're going to wait it out a bit longer as you suggest - Thank you.
