I have a new kitten YAY!

My sister just called (vet nurse)- they ahve a kitten at work, unless I take it he'll be out down. I have been awaiting this call for a while! I ahve one older cat, at my high point I cared for 16 strays! Love them. Especially the damaged ones. Our current softy was about to be put down for being nasty- pah!

This one (name is to be Lazurus) was found this morning, he has had his leg and tail amputated, is 9 weeks old and is a ginger Tom.

We will meet him at the weekend.

Ooh - soooo jealous!

My new kitten has just run up a tree, and was stuck for 30 minutes, and then ran down as if nothing was wrong!!!

aww peachy youlucky thing! I've been on the llokout for a kitten for ages but no-one knows anyone with one atm.

Lazarus is a great name too.

QE- can yu talk to a local vets, my Sis said they only give to poelpe they have met and approached them. Migt be worth a go?

Ah that's lovely. My sister works at a big veterinary hospital and has found us our kitten but he won't be old enough to leave his mum for another 4 wks. His mum was rescued and she and her babies are being fostered at the moment. He's ginger and white too but very pale so more apricot really. We are calling him Barley.

Great excitement here too .
