Need to know fairly quickly as special offer ends soon on this:

Are they are easy to use and without hitches as the publicity info would you have believe?

Ive only ever heard about them getting clogged up and not draining away.

They may have improved over the years but when we had one - probably going back about 15 years - they were a waste of time. DH had to dig a hole for it - then you just had to move the poo there - instead of in the bin - it's not as if the dog is actually gonna use it - now if someone came up with a way of encouraging that I'd be all in favour!

I used mine a great deal initially but it fills up faster than it rots down, so I gave up. Instead I've trained my dog to go in a small, fenced off child free area of the garden on command, so now I don't pick up at all, just clear away into soil at the back of the area once a month.

that sounds a good idea!

They don't work so well - clog up quicker than drain, especially in clay-ey soil like ours.
Our dog prefers to go behind the tree (honest!). Fine in summer when it's in full leaf, but in winter we've got bare naked willow tree with skinny dog squatting behind it in full view, thinking she's doing it in private
