Is the cat leukemia jab essential?
My new vet (moved recently back to the UK)offered it and we took it, whereas my mum declined her cat being done because her vet said it wasn't needed.

How many of you cat owners get it done or don't?

I did because our cat mixes a lot with others and it's supposed to be nasty if they get it I believe.

It's fatal for cats.

If your cat is mixing w/others, it's vital she be vaccinated for feline leukemia and for feline immunodeficiency virus, which is also lethal for cats.
