name for female ginger kitten

A very sweet stray ginger kitten 'found' us a couple of weeks ago. Although we already have a cat ( Tiger) we've decided to keep her but still haven' t found a suitable name. Any suggestions?

Male tabby cats aren't all that rare. I had three, and when I got my female tabby ten years ago she was one of two girls in a litter of five tabbies.

I have heard female gingers are rare.

Female ginger cats are v rare and can often be deaf so you might want to get her checked over or double check she is a she!

Male tabbys are not at all rare! I've had 4.

In the ginger vein, I was going to suggest 'Janine'. I think it's a really cool name for a cat - but I think her hair went through quite a few colours!

Male tortoiseshells are the rare ones. I've got a male tabby and had a female ginger (who was sadly pts last year)

We had 2 ginger cats, a brother and sister. The male was Tango, the female Jaffa.

She's only little now but when she's older, you might like to consider the nickname bigfatgingercat.

She is definitely a she! Well after much deliberation DD decided on Savannah the logic being that we've already got a Tiger, she looks like a little lion and lions live on the savanna! DS thinks it's a stupid name but if we wait for him to agree she'll never get a name!Thanks for all your suggestions. If we ever get another cat I'll look through all the names again. Apparently ginger females are rather rare so it looks like she's quite unique!
