Has anyone bought any pet medicine off the internet? I need a reputable website but not only that, I want to know why if buying off the internet (I want metacam, advocate, malaseb shampoo) I have to have a prescription for each from my vet. This cost £14.99 per item!! I don't know about you but I smell rip-off!!!!!

They are all prescription only medicines so must be prescribed by a vet for the on line pharmacy to dispense them.

Your vet is required to keep records and to pay for their inspections and registration which enables them to write prescription hence the charge. There are 5 vets in my practice the cost to maintain registration each is just shy of £1400.

Have a look at animed. My mum gets her cat's thyroid tablets from here. You still need buy a prescription from the vet, which you scan and download onto the order form. The vet recommended animed.
