Our boy gerbil has had babies!!!

Stupid effing pet shop. First they sold us a tank that was too small for four gerbils. Now one of our 'male' gerbils has just had babies!!!

What do we do?????????

Keep it quiet & warm, look up online any nutrition & nesting materials rules for lactating mothers, and later for weaning age. Since you posted at 2:34am does that mean it woke you up to birth its babies?

Are there still males in with it? Probably they need separate accommodation to prevent more breeding too soon.

Call the daily mail. It's not often that male gerbils reproduce.

God, I'm no use in a crisis like this but I do hope they are all ok x
